The Spring Book Fair is fast approaching!

Our Scholastic Book Fair theme –
Book Fair Luau! It’s a Reading Celebration! – is part of an exciting reading event that brings to school a wonderful selection of fun, engaging, and affordable books kids want to read. In the next few weeks, your child(ren) will have the opportunity to participate in the following activities at school:

“Read and Feed Luncheon Enjoy lunch with your child and shop during recess.  Students with last names beginning with A-H are invited on Wednesday February 1st .  Students with last names I-P are invited on Thursday February 2nd.  And students with last names Q-Z are invited on Friday February 3rd.

Estimation Station- We will have an estimation jar filled with jelly beans.  Guess the correct number and you could win a great poster!

No Sales Tax on Purchases- Buy your books at the Aldrich Book Fair and you don’t have to pay sales tax.  The PTA will pay it for you!

“Buy Six Books” Raffle- Purchases 6 books and you’ll receive an entry into a special raffle.  The raffle will be drawn at the close of the book fair on February 8th.  The raffle includes a variety of items from the Fair.

Out with the Old, Make Room for the New -   Make room for your new books by donating your gently used books during the Book Fair. The books donated will be given to the “A Book of my Own” Program.

One for Books- Please consider donating a dollar at check-out for the One-For Books programs.  Funds raised will purchase books for the “A Book of my Own” Program.

On-Line Book Fair-   Be sure to visit the Book Fair online at  www.scholastic.com/schoolbookfairs. The online Book Fair allows your child to send wish lists, inviting family and friends to participate in the Book Fair.
